Right to use services of learner in terms of a contract.

Right to negotiate together with the learners - time, place, mode of delivery, and choice of assessor.

Right to release of learner from provider of structured work experience.

Right to ensure that learner complies with rules and regulations governing the employer's business concern.

Right to apply for termination of learnership should there be non-compliance by learner, poor performance, or bad behaviour.

To ensure that learner receives appropriate training.
